FAQs

Working with psilocybin can feel like a big next step. We understand it can feel exciting and daunting at the same time. If you can't find the answers you're looking for below, then please reach out to us by phone or e-mail. We love spreading the knowledge and benefits of psilocybin to our community!

What is Psilocybin?

Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in certain mushrooms. It works by interacting with serotonin receptors in the brain, leading to changes in consciousness and perception.

Benefits of psilocybin can include:

  • Reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety

  • Increased openness and creativity

  • Improved sense of well-being

  • Enhanced spiritual experiences

What is a Service Center?

Licensed psilocybin service centers provide a safe and controlled environment for individuals to consume psilocybin under the guidance of trained professionals. This includes preparation, administration, and aftercare sessions.

Why is it worth paying for a legal psilocybin service center when I could just take psilocybin at home?

Many clients who have used psilocybin recreationally find our approach to be very different. At our center, the journey is more inward-focused, with clear goals and the support of a trained facilitator who is more than just a trip-sitter.

Our facilitators take the time to get to know you and your intentions, guiding you through every step—before, during, and after your experience. Having a dedicated companion throughout the process can make all the difference, helping you unlock deeper insights and achieve meaningful, lasting growth.

In fact, research shows that a guided psilocybin journey with professional support can significantly enhance its benefits compared to recreational or at-home use. Our facilitators not only ensure your safety and comfort but also help with integration afterward, making real-world changes more achievable.

What will I feel during Microdosing?

During a microdosing session you'll consume a very small amount of psilocybin which will not produce any noticeable effects or altered states. With continued regular sessions, this means that you'll be able to obtain the benefits of psilocybin over a gradual period of time.

How many journeys will I need?

Most of our clients find that a single journey provides profound benefits and insights. However, some individuals do choose to have additional sessions for further exploration or to deepen their understanding of the experience.

Ultimately, the decision of how many sessions to have is yours. Your facilitator can help you determine the best course of action based on your specific needs and preferences.

Is Psilocybin legal?

Yes, psilocybin is legal in Oregon when administered within a licensed service center and with a licensed facilitator present. Our center adheres to all state and local laws and regulations related to psilocybin use, ensuring a safe and legal experience for our clients.

Are you a dispensary?

No, we are not a dispensary. We do not sell or distribute psilocybin. Our services focus on providing a safe and therapeutic setting for individuals to use psilocybin under professional supervision.

What if I can't afford it?

We understand that psilocybin services in Oregon might feel a bit pricier right now as the field is still developing. However, we believe the quality of our support and personalized care makes it a worthy investment.

That being said, our priority is getting the benefits of psilocybin to as many people as we can. If price is an issue, please reach out to us and we will work with you to find a solution that makes psilocybin accessible for you!

Can out-of-state clients participate in your psilocybin services?

Yes, we welcome many out-of-state clients! We’ve partnered with Marriott TownePlace Suites, just five blocks away, to offer discounted room rates for your stay.

Who is not a current candidate for a psilocybin experience?

Everyone can benefit from psilocybin, but if you're currently experiencing any of the following, you'll need to wait before participating:

  • Those who have taken lithium within the past 30 days: Lithium can interact with psilocybin, potentially leading to serious side effects.

  • Individuals who are currently experiencing thoughts of harming themselves or others: Psilocybin can intensify emotional states, and it is important to address these thoughts before considering psilocybin use.

  • Individuals diagnosed with active psychosis: Psilocybin is not recommended for individuals with active psychosis, as it can exacerbate symptoms and lead to unpredictable effects.

If you have any other health concerns or questions, you and your facilitator will go over these during your prep & orientation session. Together, you can determine if psilocybin is suitable for you based on your individual circumstances.

We'd love to help you explore your options.
